camera problem

Hello everyone. I am new to android forums. I have a motorola motoluxe and my camera stopped working. the application camera (process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Then says force close. I have tried all the suggestions and it is still not working. Someone please help.

Have you tried clearing the cache and data of the camera app? What about trying another camera app, does it still give errors?

yes thank you for getting back to me so soon. I have cleared the data of the camera app. how do u clear the cache. Also how to do u get another camera app. Sorry I am new to the android. Thanks

You should be able to clear the cache via the same screen you used to clear the data? If you look, there should be a cache option too.

Did you link the handset to a gmail account when you set it up? Look for an app on the phone called Play Store, open it and search for another app called Camera 360, install that and see if you get the same error using that app as you do with your standard camera app.
