I'm not sure if it's my phone, or this is normal, but every time I open the camera either by the button or by the app, it makes a really weird noise while loading. It's also verrrrrrrrrry slow. Is it my phone?

The noise is the autofocus system- normal.
If it is loading super slow(I'd guess average loading time is ~5 seconds), you may have an overload of apps running in the background. A task killer app can kill off unneeded processes, although not everyone in the forum will agree this is necessary. The hard way is to go into the applications section in settings and kill them that way.
