Camera quality...

Hey, ordered my maxx and still hasnt arrived... but the camera on my wifes razr (not maxx) sucks b@ll$!! is there anything that can be done about this? (like an app of something...) i use the camera on my droidX frequently...

I don't use mine a ton, just for quick shots here and there, and I think the camera is just as good and probably even better than my X. I always thought the X camera was pretty bad.

I was at a wedding this weekend and took 159 pictures with the Maxx. Obviously the ones that zoomed in from a distance weren't as good as a regular digital but the "unzoomed" photos turned out perfectly.

I've wondered this as well. What I have discovered is you HAVE to wait for the box to appear, and you must be perfectly steady when hitting the "take the picture" button... Otherwise you WILL get blurry pics.

The camera on the maxx is just ok. Not great. Can't compare to the camera on my iPhone 4s. It's quick, but unless the light is perfect, the quality is so-so.

I actually find the camera to be pretty good, just have to use it and play with settings and the pics will come out nice.

I played with the exposure setting to get better pics, also swicth to "Sports" mode if you have moving targets and you'll avoid the brurr.

The flash is fantastic here, so there is no excuse not to get all the details in poorely lit areas.

They also sell macro and fish eye lenses which can attach/detach easily for those who want to get real close up marco mode shooting.
