Had to do a hard factory reset to get the camera and gallery to shop the pics again. They were all still there, and the camera still took pics, but there was no preview - just a black screen with all of the normal camera icons and the little focus frame visible. Happened after I tried the root method listed here, and again when I tried the root method listed a second time. Had to do a full hard reset again to get it back again.... although I want the phone rooted I'm leary if trying the same method again. Is there another proven root method I can try on my LG Motion 4G - BTW it has the latest "G" firmware installed (by Metro automated uodate).

There are two root methods for this phone. Which did you use? I've rooted a million times and never had that problem on this phone. Try the root method that doesn't require a PC. Or if that's the one you used try the one in the root section stickys.
