Help Camera Setting: Edit Shortcuts - huh??

I feel like an absolute moron here but I can't seem to figure out how to get the shortcuts to show up when I'm in camera mode. When I click on settings in camera mode, my first option is to Edit Shortcuts. When I click on that, I see a bunch of icons for shortcuts that I can drag around and re-order but I don't know how to get them to show up on my screen for quick access - which I assume is a feature otherwise why would I re-order them?

BTW, by shortcuts I mean the camera setting shortcuts like SCN, Auto ISO, Metering, AWB, etc.

Please help.

Thanks!

I don't have my SIII yet, but from the manual it looks like you can only use the four you position in the shortcut area of the preview screen. You might be able to add more to the area and they either shrink or scroll, I'm not sure. Somebody who has their SIII please chime in here.

Thanks guys. I guess I needed some sleep to understand it. I assumed that the shortcuts were going to be overlaid on the screen the way they are on point and shoot cameras. I didn't realize that they were to REPLACE the existing shortcuts instead of supplementing them!

Thanks for the help!

I saw the shortcut preview screen in a review video and I thought the same thing. Kinda wish they had made a shortcuts key to overlay ALL those commands. Oh well....developers?
