"camera shake"

how do you activate the "camera shake" on start up when the phone is locked?

You first have to enable the feature: open the camera app, swipe right to open the options "wheel" spin it to the bottom and click the hand/camera icon if necessary (it should have a blue "underline"). Then when phone is sleeping/locked give it two quick, sharp shakes to open the camera.

I have found that twisting the phone like you were using a screwdriver works well to launch the camera.
