Root Camera shortcut on lock screen? Silent camera?

Hi there

I've just rooted my Galaxy S5 G900I. I heard people saying I could change the setting on my camera. This version doesn't come with a camera shortcut on the lock screen and also I can't silence it when I shoot.

Any other tips for a rooted S5?

Any advice? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Andrea,

I'm new to the rooted world as well so I'm not sure about that feature yet. I do know that if you Google "enforced stream silencer" then click on the top link, then click on the link to the apk. This will download like an app. Open it up, check the box and voilà! Hope this helps.

Get a root file Explorer and go into system/media/ui and delete the corresponding file for the camera click (shutter)
