Camera shutter sound?

Had my phone on vibrate, went to take a picture and the shutter sounded? I've been searching through settings and sound settings can't find anywhere to turn it off. Need some help guys thanks.

When you go in to the camera, as if to take pictures, you should be able to hit the menu button and then one of the options should be to turn off the sound. I'm not familiar with the Note, so can't comment, but I'm sure one of our other members who does have on will be able to help :)

FWIW, there are some parts of the world where the shutter sound MUST be on.

Took me forever to find the extra settings as well. Open your camera to take a picture; in the lower left hand part of the screen look for a icon that looks like a gear, click it, and it will display the settings. Scroll down to find shutter sound. Another useful setting is the Anti-shake; I always leave that on.

P.S. also watch out, it likes to turn the flash on as well; if you are taking pictures and do not want to advertise it, turn your flash off.
