Camera Shutter Sound

Is there a way to make the camera's shutter sound louder? I can barely hear it, and in a noisy environment I often wonder if the photo has been captured.

Turning up the ringtone volume will increase the shutter sound.

Unfortunately, no. You can go to the camera, settings review duration and set it to 5 seconds so you can verify the picture you have taken

For those looking to MUTE the shutter sound, this option will vary by carrier or which region of the world you purchased the phone in.

Sprint (a U.S. carrier) for example, on the original shipped software build has an option within the camera application to turn off the shutter sound and other camera sounds (this can also vary based on if you have installed software updates)
