Camera streaming from Tab 2

I now have a spare Tab 2 10.1 and would like to connect it to a camera to streaming only i.e. only show current view no recording (this will be used on a hidden track area of my model railway to check track occupation)

What camera (?USB) would work and what software. Physically the tablet will be about one metre from the camera i.e. a metre cable would be sufficient.

Any advice please?

I have now got a Logitec C270 camera and, using IP webcam software, can use it on my Galaxy S5 phone. However I want to use it on my Galaxy 2 10.1 (GT-P5110) tablet.

When I connect the camera, via the otg, to the tablet I get these error messages:-

"High-power USB device connected" and "Can not access to the device. Connected device needs external power supply".

Has anyone any success with this or similar setups and if so what are your solutions?
