Camera Suddenly stuck in video mode?

Hello all.
Recently I opened my camera to discover it seems stuck in video mode.
The icon which was once there, the video camera, on a slider that changed to a photo camera, is now merely a video camera with no such slider option.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

Figured it out. (DUH)
They simply removed the option, because you can now take photos a usual by touching the screen, and video by touching the video icon.
They removed the slider in the update, because it was reduntant
What an epiphany. (Not)
