Help Camera works!!! yahoooooooo!

I agree... not worth loading on your touch pad... wait a few days & I am sure Doregaray will crack it for us... he deserves some donations... what say tpcm9 users?

Now, we call progress: Dorregeray has uploaded "review 2" where Skype calling works!!! Also, no more blue screesn, need to reboot upon exiting camera app. etc.
Some issues with taking pictures: so, Dorregeray has promised a "review 3" in the next 2-3 days that will take care of all these issues... and then we can use Camera... YIPEEEE!!!
Thanks Dorregeray!!! You rock!!!

Please visit this link for "Review 3"...

Dorregaray, I live in India and sending my contribution as an appreciation for your efforts is a bit complex process: nevertheless, I am gonna make some efforts to show you my appreciation...

The link is for preview3 (in the OP).

If you mean the blue screen, it probably was preview 2, but I read it yesterday about the time p3 came out.

R3 works really well. Skype works perfectly now. I could honestly care less about taking pictures as the camera quality isn't very great. Pulse be sure to donate to all the devs working on the TP who spend countless hours working for free.

It still has issues with some software and some blue screens.

I'll wait until it merged with CM10. (I have no use for a front-facing camera.) :D

I wouldn't even call it alpha yet. It is highly experimental and one really risks "bricking" their TouchPad if they try installing it. This is not for even someone who considers themselves somewhat knowledgeable.

I strongly recommend you stay with CM9 until CM10 comes out as a nightly and even then I would wait a while for some of the more experienced rooters to try it out.

I am doing a Nandroid restore b/c it's not very stable yet (reboots, even when in sleep mode/battery drain), but it is promising!

Reboots while sleeping is my only complaint.

Since I don't use my TP much, I can wait for the next build.

OTOH, CM10 on the Nook Color (beta 5) was just added to the repository with nightly builds. They also have about 5 devs where I think we have one.
