Camera Zoom FX Issues

I have an HTC Hero and just purchased Camera Zoom FX. I like it but can't seem to get the settings to stay. For example I have Shutter sound enabled in settings but no sound. Also I enabled On Screen Shutter to try, now I can't get it to disable even if I uncheck it in the settings. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

I don't have a Hero so I'm just throwing out a few suggestions.

First, did you reboot the phone after installing?

What version of Android are you running?

You might consider contacting the app developer if problems persist.

Thanks for the reply. My firmware version is 2.1. I did not reboot the phone when I installed the app. I did uninstall Camera Zoom FX, rebooted, reinstalled and rebooted. No joy. Not a huge issue. I just like to hear the shutter sound.
