Need more information than that. Is she on the stock rom or on a custom rom? Is she getting errors when trying to open it?

Does it say can not connect to camera when you try to open it.

Canera constantly says "cannot connect to camera" . Ive tried everything fron
-taking the battery out
-restart phone
-hard reset
-clear camera cache / data

And NOTHING seems to work . Im beyond frustrated. The camera is all i use.

*bout phone off of a friend ---no service--- just using wifi for apps and such .

Sorry tell you but something must be broken then. Users have reported that they get that message and nothing fixes it so they then get the phone replaced. I myself get the issue but for me it's temporary as the next time i try to use it it will fix itself. Idk it does it by itself so i guess im lucky anyways sorry

Yes its the stock rom she opens up the app and it said can't connect to camera I've done everything even a factory data reset nothing worked

Its a hardware problem probably, and we cant fix that. You would have to send the phone Metro and get a replacement.

My sister doesn't have insurance on it so I'm assuming she's screwed

Ive got the same problem.. Done tons of research and the only thing ive come across that sounded close but i dont wanna try.. I read about a guy that got tried of trying software and went mechanical.. Took it apart and the little connection wire was actually disconnected.. IDK!!! If thats ur ball park then swing away but, personally i use my phone way to much to have it in peices.. He said he put it back together and everything was perfect but like i said im just not that mechanically inclined... I can program anything.. Dont give me a tiny ass screw driver though..
