Does anybody else' camera show blurriness when you physically move the phone? Like if its not focused I find everything really blurry and laggy, even motion in the figures while it is focused.
 
Not to be funny but did u remove the plastic from the lens of the camera. If not u may want to . If you did i think you may want to return . Cause remember this phone can record a video in a moving car or truck at 60 per . And the photo are to be clear
 
Based on this, I need to return my camera. Very blurry during video shots or if anything is moving in a still.
 
Its your phone as i said just return it . Are u rooted if not there isn't any other way to repair but take the device apart and fix the camera hardware or software. So how old is the device .
 
Yeah, pictures suck on this phone. They are no better than my old Motorolla Droid. The videos are terrible. Constant autofocusing making video watching unbearable. All these grand reviews for the video/picture quality have to be people who have something to gain from saying that about the LG. This is not quality for a 13 mp camera. :(

If you're seeing that on your phone, see about a replacement. It might not be on par with a 13 MP DSLR or something, but I just took a huge panoramic video of my call center, alternating between dark areas of desks, to more of the ceiling will all the lights, and all over the place. It was smooth as can be, crystal clear, and by far better than any previous phone I've had. And if you think I have something to gain from saying something about LG, by all means enlighten me as to where my reward is. It's the first LG I've owned since my LG 5200 Sprint flip phone about 15 years ago. I'm coming from a Gnex, with a Thunderbolt before that, and Fascinate before that. GF had a Droid 3, came from an Ally. I'm about as far from an LG Fanboy as can be, I just tell it how it is on my phone. Not everyone has something to gain just from being honest with a positive story about a phone.
 
I think a lot of people are really confused about what optical image stabilization is supposed to be able to do. At most, especially in a small package like a cell phone compared to a stabilization system on a full sized camera, it can help compensate for tiny shakes of your hand when taking a picture. Maybe LG's marketing and goofy commercials about the camera make it seem like this camera will let you take a clear picture while someone is tackling you, but that's not really realistic. If your arm is in motion when you press the shutter button you're still going to get a blurry image. The greatest stabilization systems in the world on the highest end thousand dollar cameras are still not able to prevent a blurry photo in every single situation a photographer might find themselves in, so whatever tiny stabilization components they were able to fit into a cell phone camera is not going to guarantee a perfect shot 100% of the time.

Some people have reported returning their G2 for another one and getting a better camera, but I really wonder if that's true or just a placebo effect, I would need to see two comparison shots taken exactly the same way before believing that a lot of people are getting G2s with bad cameras.
 
Look at how crappy the quality is. You can see the focus thing happening constantly.
