Can a document scanner app be used on tablet with front-facing camera?

There's only one camera on my tablet, and it faces the user. I don't see how a scanner app could be used, since you can't see what you're scanning. Am I missing something????

Welcome aboard. Usually or normally, a device will come with a back camera for use of this application, more so than a front facing one.

Have you thought about returning it for something different?
