Can anyone hear mix Mp3's for ringtones REAL well?

I need a short ringtone inserted into certain parts of a longer ringtone. You can give it your own creative element - it's droid related and I think will sound bad@ss.
Let me know, and if you want me to just spill the beans and explain it here, I will, but I would really like it, but am mixing handicapped.

Or at least recommend a good program that doesn't just fade them into each other.

you can download audacity (free) just look it up on google. it works awesome.
