Can anyone help with hyperterminal macro.

I have a buddy that needs a hyperterminal macro that would prevent deleting of log files. Is this possible

I'm not familiar with hyperterminal--is that a Linux app? If so, of course anything can be done to make it work as desired. If not...then I don't know.

Yeah hyperaccess is a full version of the terminal but I'm mostly wanting the private edition we need to create a macro that will allow you to login download the log file save it and then logoff. I did macros in DOS years ago but that was a long time ago. Its a bit different but understand essentially the same

I no longer have any notes regarding Hyperterminal and a quick search didn't yield anything useful for command line switches.

Since it's a windows app it may not have its own switches for what Frogster wants to do. It may take a little scripting to make it work. If anyone here is good with windows 'batch file' scripting, or knows someone who is, it should be pretty straightforward and quick to write.
