Can EVO be used on Verizon?

Can an UNLOCKED EVO be used on Verizon?

It's my understanding that Verizon will not activate a phone on their network that is exclusive to another carrier.

Exactly...with a few minor details, the EVO is basically the Incredible on Verizon's network

^Right. CDMA phone's don't have SIM cards. When you have the carrier activate the phone and give them your IMEI number, they will know its not a network branded phone.
