Oracle, in its lawsuit, is demanding that Android be destroyed.

Hypothetically, if Oracle wins, can Google somehow switch to another language, like

They've got too much invested to just switch languages. What will happen if Oracle wins is that Google will just have to pay a royalty to Oracle for every copy of the infringing OS installed...or they'll just pay them a big lump sum.

Yup, Google will not give up Java. They will absorb the royalty fees just so they don't have to change anything.
