My personal experience:
I got my Asus Transformer tablet in December for Xmas. I upgraded it to ICS a few months later. The thing lagged. Programs were freezing up. Things wouldn't load. Others too long to load. I was ready to throw the thing out the window. I was so frustrated. How can they put out such crap without fixing all the issues first?
I wanted to go back to Gingerbread. I was close to issuing an RMA to return it to Asus. Then I read on there to do a factory reset, which I figured out how to do.
To make a long story short, I've used this thing every single day since then with absolute joy.
I will reset mine soon. I'm pretty sure things will work out.
