Can I change the power button behavior?

Hey there,

I have a Samsung SIII. I was wondering if it is possible to change the behavior of the power button? I'll describe the scenario - Let's say that I have the messaging app open and hit the power button. The phone goes to standby and when I hit the power button again and unlock the phone the phone opens back up to the messaging app that was open when I put it into standby. Is it possible to set the power button so that when I hit it the phone goes to standby but when I wake it back up and unlock it that it is at it's default home screen location like I had pressed the home button? Sorry if that is poorly written... It's kind of hard to explain :(

Thanks

Greetings Rollotamassi,

I don't think it's possible to do what your looking to do.

How about just hitting the home button before you lock the phone. Your apps will stay the way you left them at lock time.

After unlocking the phone, all you would have to do is long press on the home button and select the app from the task manager screen.
