Help Can I Disable QuickRemote Notification?

Every time I pull down the notification bar on my VZ LG G2, I get the very large and annoying QuickRemote prompt that asks me if I want to add a remote. I'm not using this feature. I've edited the slider so the QuickRemote app does not display. I don't think this is an app that can be disabled.

Anyone have a suggestion as to how the QuickRemote notification can be disabled?

Have you tried clearing the cache & data from the app? (assuming you do not want to use QUICK REMOTE at all)

The Disable button is greyed-out on my G2 as well,FWIW.
 
Also,check your QUICK REMOTE settings (APPLICATIONS > QUICK REMOTE > MENU) & disable AUTO DISPLAY AT HOME.
 
I've tried all the above. Cleared cache and data. Disabled auto display at home. The prompt still appears when I pull down the notification bar. I wonder if perhaps I relent and add a remote (when I get home) it'll stop the notification. I'll give that a try later.

Got rid of the QuickRemote notification. I had removed the app icon from the notification bar... perhaps this is when I started receiving constant prompt whenever I'd pull down the bar. So... I edited the bar and selected QuickRemote to appear again on the bar. This did it. No more prompting when I pull down the bar. Guess LG/VZ just wants to keep that QuickRemote up there. Not a big deal... but it was bugging me!

SMG5 This quick remote crap is driving me nuts. How the hell do I "add it back" to my notifications bar. I can't find anywhere to do that. Would you please explain it to us, step by step, so this thread is useful to others? Thanks in advance.

Slide down the menu and on the far right select edit, check quick remote so it shows up on the bar, then turn it off the we way you would the WiFi or location icon.
 
I spent the whole day on and off trying to fix this, trying everything! This did it. Saved me from a lot of puzzling. Thanks!!
