Is the US ICS firmware for the P7510 floating around somewhere? Or do we have to wait for the OTA update? Have checked a couple of times per day the last few days, and no update yet. Getting a little tired of waiting...
I'd rather not bother with Kies if I can avoid it.Two ways:
Use Kies, but you'll probably have to do a reset on your tab to get it to work.
That's how I did it; worked fine. The tab now also connects to Kies with no problems.
Second way is to d/l the update from the Sammobile website and flash it.

Flashed the update file from Sammobile. Thanks.
Flashing ICS seems to have killed root, which I guess makes sense since everything got wiped. Flashed CWM recovery via Odin, but flashing root from within CWM doesn't seem to work on ICS (it worked fine on my GT running HC).
Edit: Need a different root file for ICS. Can get it here: How to Root ICS on Galaxy Tab 10.1! | Galaxy Tab Hacks!

Don't know. Can you flash the root file using the native recovery? I.e., does the native recovery give you an option to flash a zip file from the tab's storage? Is it a must to install CWM if I want to root, and if so, why?
