Can I exlude media files from Gallery & Music?

Hi all,
How can I tell Music and Gallery on my android device to include files in a spesific folder only? Gallery looks so messed up with photos and videos I don't want to see. Same with music.
Is there any a way other than the .nomedia trick? As it take time and effort to create this file in all folders in my device.

You can't. They are designed to aggregate all media, regardless of location, into a single unified view.

You can copy a single .nomedia file then paste it into multiple folders.
