Can I FORCE a download from the app store to my phone?

I have the Samsung Galaxy Centura with operating system 4.0.4.

I want to download the "My Disney Experience - WDW" app, which states it will work on Android 4.0 or above. But at the app store it says it's not compatible with my phone.

I emailed the developer (I believe is Disney), but I'm not expecting much/any help.

Is there any way I can force the download? Even if I can get the program on my laptop and then drop/drag it to my cell phone.

Somehow I would REALLY like to have this free app before our trip to Disney.

Thanks!

You can try to find the apk somewhere on xda or other sites. I would be careful where you get it from if you find it. Some sites give fake downloads or malware.
Might not run properly if it says it's incompatible, but you could try.

I got lucky and googled for the apk. Someone else had the same problem and they found it at the Amazon App Store. I did the same and it let me download and it works!

Crazy that the Google Play store wouldn't have the right information!

Glad you are all set. It could be an oversight on whomever published the app to play. And as an aside, that is a must have app if you go to Disney.

Crazy that I didn't think to try the Amazon App store. I've only downloaded 1 or 2 apps from them in the past, so I forgot they were even alive.

Yes I love this Disney app. My wife d/l it for her iphone the other day and I knew that I just had to have it too (but I'm an Android guy).

So glad that I was able to get it from a reliable source and not a random download from an apk website.

:)
