Help Can I format my SD card as internal memory on a J5?

So I formatted my sd card, performed the commands in adb fastboot command, rebooted phone via command line, and it still doesn't recognize the sd card as internal storage. Is this incorrect code? I've replaced <DISK> with the listed disk:
disk:179,64
as instructed by the forum thread I found it on.

I only see a format option in the storage>SD card section. Only unmount and format. Am I looking in the wrong place again??
 
Did you get any error message while using the ADB ?

When you select an app to see its details, do you see the option to move the app to other storage?

Anyway keep trying as you have a working ADB.
 
It didn't error, it seemed to execute the command as it went to a new clear adb command after. Looking at apps in storage still doesn't offer moving many to ad card. I'll keep looking for adb commands to work around but I'm kind of running blind.
