Can I get an uninstalled system app back?

Hi,

I have a rooted Android 2.1 phone. By accident I uninstalled the system task manager instead of the third party one I meant to uninstall. Is there a way I can get the system task manager back on my phone? I did not have a backup of this one since I never meant to uninstall it.

You would have to re-flash a stock rom to get it back.

That's too much work. I never use that task manager anyway. I thought I could get an apk from somewhere and install it, but that's not possible I'll live without it. Thanks!

If there's a rooted stock rom on xda for your phone you could download it and just extract the apk you want out of it.
