Help Can I get Lollipop update on LTE tablet without SIM card?

I have a Verizon Galaxy S and a Verizon LG G Pad 8.3 that don't have active SIM cards, I use them on wifi. Since updates are pushed by carriers, will these be able to be updated? What other means can I use to update besides OTA?

I'm pretty sure you can get ota over wifi (?)
Not sure about the tablet but I wouldn't expect any updates for your phone lol
