Help Can I get my calendar back?

Hello,
I installed Lollipop and had a few problems. I spoke with the lady who sold me the phone and she checked for the latest backup -which was that morning. She performed a factory reset and assured me I would be able to get everything back from the cloud. Well, she was mostly correct for the contacts and photos and it even fixed the lag issues and overheating. Sadly, I have not been able to get to my calendar no matter how much I sync or to where I sync. Please tell me I can retrieve my calendar intact. Thanks For Your Time And Help.

Where was the calendar synced with? Was this a Google calendar, Outlook, or what? If it was synced it's just a matter of entering the account in your accounts & sync settings and enabling syncing for it.

If it was only on the device or sync was disabled then there is no way.

The sync must have been enabled before you can do so.

Thanks for your help. My calendar was synced only to my phone and is now lost forever. I have to sync to a program that will save the calendar as well, right?
