Can I get your input: Screenshots

I need folks without rooted phones. I just discovered that on my phone, stock, with no application, a screenshot can be taken with the following steps:

1. LONG PRESS the BACK button. There will be a slight vibration when this step is done.
2. WHILE STILL HOLDING BACK BUTTON, press the POWER button. You will get a rougher vibration and a tool tip stating you took a screen shot.

Now I want to know how many devices this procedure works on. Please try this procedure on your UNROOTED phone and if it works please tell me what phone you have and which OS version you're on. (if it didn't work, please share that info too)

It worked on my Samsung Fascinate running 2.2.2

I think that is a feature of samsung phones, pretty sure on phones with most other OEM you need to root to take screen shots

Well someone should have said that loud and clear on the Samsung Fascinate forums when they were trying to figure out how to take screen shots after they heard it might have been possible lol...

I've never had a sammy and just found out about that earlier today, plus I don't go to the fascinate forums very often. I am not sure what phone/OS version it was first added on to answer the rest of your OP, maybe someone else will pop in and tell you more :D

Pretty much all Galaxy series phones by Samsung has this feature. I think they replaced it with home and power though for the S2

On the T-mobile S2, you press the home key, then the power button at the same time. It takes a little practice but works well.
