Help can I have 2 users on note n8010

My note n8010 does not seem to have the option to have 2 users as my tosh excite pro did. I really need this as my wife and I share the note and we have very different tastes so the ability to have customized home pages and settings etc was very useful.

To get the multiple users do I need to root and then add a rom? Im not experienced with rooting etc so if I have to do this could you recommend a rom and a link with clear....baby steps instructions...... thanks in advance for any help......

Yes, you need a custom rom. Before (or even if) we get a newer android version, you cannot add multiple users without rooting/custom rom.

thanks for the info mrex, do you or anyone know a good rom that will allow me this 2 user function and a link? I have looked on CyanogenMod but it does not support my n8010.........thanks
