Help can i make my android version back ??

after android 5.0 realesed on galaxy s3 neo i want to update but iam afraid because too many programs wouldnt work in the new update if i update to it and dont like can i return to my old version (KitKat 4.4.2)

I would say probably not. You couldn't go back to an earlier version of Android from Jelly Bean onwards on any Samsung Galaxy I've ever owned, but having said that the official leaked Lollipop (V5.0.0) apparently you can go back to Kitkat (V4.4.2) with it (on my Note 3 the SM-N9005 variant) . However I wouldn't like to try to and end up with a shiny "Brick". I'm only going on what I read.

Wait........ you're telling me the S3 neo got an OFFICAL Lollipop update but the original S3 with 2 GB of Ram isn't?!?!

What is wrong with Samsung...
