Root Can I recover?

I've had my C771 for almost a yr, rooted it via the init.qcom method a couple months ago.

Finally got brave wanting to Flash a ROM.

Got GNM Recovery. NAND backed up. Wiped data, and dalvik. I'm Set.

On the PC, I Downed monkey's blues ROM, and Wilsters red pill. and checked md5s. All good, So I copied to my SD, and told GNM to Flash the zip..

No err messages, but rebooted... and waited.... and waitd.. 30min still on G'zOne now loading screen.

So, it hasn't progressed far enough to do a Hard reset, or get into adb.

Am I fudged?

Many thanks.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

My apologizes I was off hiking and driving a nice red sports car in Montana. My guess is that your system partition was wiped. When you installed, there were two things you missed:
You should have installed a boot image that was insecure and had adb enabled by default. Then, you could adb to the phone from a "system wipe".

You should have also gotten a "free space checker" that checks to make sure that whatever you did actually installed on the system partition.

I am sorry to say that you phone underwent a transition to a paperweight, if my theory is correct.:( But, they are really cheap to by on ebay right now. Got one of mine for $35.

P.S. which ROM did you flash, and if it was redpill, did you get beta or V1?
