Can I root without a computer?

I know you could root the Galaxy S with Z4 root but nowhere seems to mention if it will work with the S2

Not to worry. I borrowed someones laptop and did out that way. Surprisingly easy considering I'd never rooted a phone before. It was actually harder to write surprisingly using swype.
