(Very) long story short(er), I'm disabled and live alone. Instead of one of those chunky grey medi-alert pendants for the elderly, complete with enormous yearly subscription, I keep an extra cheap phone (SG Trend2 Lite) plugged into in my hallway with WiFi and Bluetooth on all the time, with €15 PAYG credit, and a series of silly little Bluetooth speakers stashed all over my apartment. So anywhere, including in the shower, I can play my music, check the time by TTS, and redial the last dialled number (that's the part I want to mess with) by single clicking the buttons for play, track up, track down. I use a combination of Headset Droid, Lazy Car, and TTS for all button/call/text management.
Anyway, I know the 'last dialled number' is a thing saved in the phone where whatever number the phone app used last gets stored, and so the Bluetooth device just points to that storage space when you ask for a redial. I want to set a specific number to be dialled in place of the most recent, so I can use the phone ordinarily but not have to worry about having to call my mother from my emergency number every single time I need to reset.
Widjets won't work, Headset Droid doesn't see them. I can adjust HD so it runs another app when I single click play (currently it redials), so long as it then dials a specific number with no further input...
Any ideas?
Amy
(I can't believe that was the short version)
