Yes, this feature is available when using both 4G and 3G on the Galaxy. 3G utilizes SVDO (Simultaneous Voice & Data Out) and 4G has native support for voice and data. This is one of the few phones that support SVDO. Be aware of that if you are looking to purchase another device.
