can I flash anything while in a custom rom?

hboot is 1.57.0000 S-on I'm rooted (of course) andi wanna flash things like custom boot animations fonts apps etc.

You should be fine, but I'm not sure about the boot animations. I know for changing the splash screen (the white "HTC" screen that you see when you start your phone), you need to be S-OFF.

Boot animations are no problem. Most are as easy as replacing spc_bootanimation.zip

Fonts r no problem too, there's apps in the market to assist with that

yes you should be able to but i highly suggest you get S-Off to minimize the risk of any problems, especially when flashing. Trust me its alot easier then it looks
