Help Can mount but Can't open /cache/recovery/command

Hi there,

To my surprise, my mother gave me her phone today and said it's suddenly not working.

So I boot the phone (It's an alcatel)

The first thing that came up is:

Android system recovery (3e)

Adroing system recovery utility

reboot system now
apply update from sdcard
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

E:Can mount but Can't open /cache/recovery/command
---


Now first thing I did was just to play aroun thinking well... it's probably easily fixable... just clicked everything.. applied yes here and there and now there are more error logs like source file cannot be opened etc.

I tried to use google to find a solution but the anwers where kind of out of context and I had no idea what they were talking about...

Is there any way to fix with quickly without me having to spend a whole day trying to figure things out?
