can not change my profile using the phandroid app

Anybody know why I can't change my profile using the app version on my phone? I don't have an avatar while using the app. Just the Grey android. And when I go to "profile", it's "connecting to server" forever till I touch the screen.

I made this mistake when I first set mine
 
I know I've set a profile pic on the main website. But I still don't see it when i post comments or threads. I believe I can see it when I go to my homepage on the main site. But no pic at all on the app. Running on 3G.
 
Yes, what I mean is that the profile picture is not meant to be displayed next to posts. You need to set an avatar, which is another option in your userCP for that.

Hi there,

I am new to this forum,very helpfull indeed....but i also cant put any pic on my profile,wen i do it it says avtar change n then it says fail to send your detail.
Also i cant changr anything on my profile:rolleyes:

Are you trying to do this from a computer or from an app?

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the app and tried again? What kind of image are you trying to upload and have you tried doing this from your PC? :)
 
I don't think it is something that can be changed from the app... I think it's something that needs to be done from the website.
 
You can definitely change your avatar via Tapa (just checked), so I would assume the same would be true for the AF app

I've not used Tapa before and have only been using the app since my laptop fried about 10 days ago :o
 
Hi there,

I did clean the data fro app manager still its not working,and the link which u sent i have the account thia app only....
