I was having an issue with my calls not being logged when I would make or receive a call. Somebody told me to turn off and take out the battery. I did that and it seemed to fix that problem (good) but now all of my contacts are gone (bad). Any help?? Please!!

Did you use google or Verizon backup assistant to backup your contacts?

Honestly I dont know. Is there a way that I can find out. If I had to guess I would say Verizon because there is a little round icon on the upper left hand corner that comes on with out me doing any thing and I beleive that is the back up.

Please forgive my ignorance, I'm not really up on this "new" technology.

You should have the Verizon backup assistant app in your app drawer... Open it up and see if it syncs your contacts...otherwise you can log into your gmail account and see if there are any contacts listed in there...

If neither of those work, your contacts are gone and will have to manually add them back.

If you do have to add them back, I suggest using the option to make them "google" contacts when prompted.
