As of right now. I'm on AOKP40. And its the best I've used in awhile. Our jellybean roms always give me issues

Sorry guys... Gonna be a minute longer before I am able to release anything... Preparing myself to move into my dorm next month... Plus not enough space on my Linux partition to complete a full build anymore... Also going to be reinventing/upgrading my current rig over the next few days... Waiting on parts to arrive... Hang tight... I honestly haven't given this much of a priority as this device has fully functional ports already... The other 3 devices I help on have either a locked bootloader/no kernel source... Or only halfway functional ports... Those are the ones I dedicate a larger amount of time to... Please be patient

Its all good man! Don't stress about it. Just wondered how things were going. You have your hands full and that is fine. Again don't stress on this. Whenever you are able to get it done that is when it will be done.

Any of the current JB roms are going to be better than an LG stock rom ported from another phone to this one.

If, perhaps, we got an actual stock rom from LG specifically for this phone... It might have better driver support... But I highly doubt you're going to get that from a ported stock rom.

So take CM10.1.0, load a bunch of bloatware, tune the OOM values way down so you have no ram free ever, turn the cpu clocks down. It should lag enough to feel like a stock rom. ;)
 
Yea but if I had access to a stock jb rom, I'd probably run it. Stock really performs best on my device.

Yeah, but stock is not the same as another devices stock ported over.

Even though the devices are in the same device family... it's never really going to be "stock" if it's not released from LG for this device.

That's pretty much the point I was trying to make.

True it will never be "stock"
But sense 4 was never "stock" for the droid incredible. That didnt stop devs from making it happen..
Nexus s has sense.. and motoblur..

So whats the issue with wanting what lg refuses to give us?

Fair enough and it's a very good point.
 
Bones does make a good point. I mean everyone likes something and its not really nice to call them out about it with bloat. That may be a problem with LG ui but you can always disable it. He could just like it for lockscreen, you never know. Just please respect others opinions and likings of other Roms. We all like different things.
