Can someone get me a song please.

Not sure if this is allowed or not, so I'll try it and see, if it's not just tell me and I'll give up - no need to get nasty at all.

I am trying to get hold of a song by an artist in the USA. The artist herself actually tried to send me the song via an itunes gift. The issue is I can't download the song as I live in the UK and songs sent from USA can't be accessed from UK.

I have tried to purchase it myself from Amazon and also from itunes but to no avail.

So what I am after is a kind soul who will purchase the song and download it, then email it across to me. I will refund their costs via paypal.

I am NOT after a pirated copy, ripped off MP3 etc, in fact I doubt you'll find it (no that's not a challenge.) I want the best quality copy available from either itunes or Amazon, preferably in a lossless format. It's purely an issue that I can't buy it from in the UK.

If what I've asked for is illegal then please don't get nasty, is there a legal way for me to buy this song.
 
All I can suggest is to contact the artist if possible and explain the situation. You want the song, she wants you to have it, so hopefully an alternative can be worked out. It also lets her know that the existing licencing restrictions are preventing her making money from her work. ;)
 
I'm in contact with her via Twitter - have just send her a tweet so hopefully she may be able to sort something out.
