Help Can someone help me fix an infinite boot loop on my Reverb?

EDIT: I fixed the issue, not sure how or why. Could anyone tell me why my phone got stuck in the bootloop?



Hi, my samsung galaxy reverb is stuck, I think, in an infinite boot loop. Basically, I went to bed and plugged in my phone and when I woke up and tried to turn it on it loaded the samsung screen, flashed Virgin Mobile intro thing, and then the samsung screen glowed and faded over and over without end. I have deduced from reading online that I need to reinstall firmware to my phone? I looked online and couldn't find any firmware for the phone SPH - M950. Could someone please give me instructions on how to fix my phone? Thanks.
 
Play with the power button a bit, some of us have been plagued with the occasional sticky button since we got our phones.
 
I don't think that's the problem... It loads up the samsung screen and then freezes like that. It won't go any further, and the keyboard lights glow. I tried resetting my phone back to stock and clearing the cache from the recovery menu. But neither worked.
 
Ugh... I don't know why but after hours of playing around with it, it all of a sudden restarted correctly. I wish I knew why, but whatever. I just lost all of my contacts and everything in the process... could someone tell me why it happened?
