Help Can someone help?

I've been having problems with the sound controls when I try to lower the volume for notifications and ringer it starts to lower the media volume instead like if I we're wearing earphones. This has started happening after I updated my phone it's really annoying.

I had that happening after I installed multiple music players. I was running n7 and Poweramp at the same time to compare the sound quality and it screwed up the volume settings. The phone randomly switched between media- and telephone- volume. Uninstalling all music players and re-installing the one that I wanted to use helped.

Is this the case with you?

Yeah I don't know if it's the Google music app that's causing it or what because it starts to do this after the app stops responding
