Root Can someone please explain why we cannot screen record

Why can we only screen record in the stock ROM but not any custom ROMs? Everytime In a custom ROM it freezes up. But screen recording in the stock ROM is fine. Does the galaxy s3 mini have this problem as well?

Well we have only 1gb of ram on this phone (not even really that though. 900 give or take a few mb's)
With a phone with more than that we can.

So if I added RAM by swap or something would I be able to screen record without it freezing?

No you'll have the same problem alot of people belive its a ram issue, witch it isnt, reason it does that because the kernel isnt patched yet to fix it
