i want to turn off the animations to save battery life. i'm having the hardest time figuring out what i'm doing wrong. i went to settings>display>animations and turned off all window animations, i also re added the clock and weather and unchecked the full screen animations. the animations are definitely still there, please help!!

Scrap the widgets, turn off auto sync and sync manually, turn off auto brightness, and lower the screen brightness. That should help your battery life a ton
