Root Can this phone support wi-fi hotspot

This isn't where I normally post but I figured I would ask you all, Does this device support wifi hotspot, I look through the roms in search of the features I Didn't see the feature anywhere. I searched on Google lead me to an old thread here where the question wasn't answered, the device is rooted and running a custom rom I forget which custom rom (#2 I think)

yes but that one creates an ad-hoc ans some things don't connect {ps3} I am sorry I didn't clarify enough

i went into metro a few weeks ago and tried to add the mobile hotspot to my plan...which i found out sucks because you get stuck with a limit of 2gb data a month...no more unlimited..
they ended up telling me they couldnt do it because its not available on the esteem...only after they added it to my plan..

If you are on the 60$ plan they don't charge extra for it, but yeah i know it doesn't come stock.

Been through most of them, sometimes I wish I could just send my hotspot apk from my system apps

I use the app all the time it works with my ps3, wii, tablet, laptop, and phones not on the net work. I've never had a prob with it.

Thanks for this. If i was a dev I would maybe cook it into a rom, no one should be without the full functionality of their devices
