Can u use tempered glass with a Otterbox Defender Case?

I was wondering if anyone ever try, using a tempered glass protector with a Otterbox defender case?

And I found a tempered glass, it's thin at .4mm, but I don't know if the Otterbox defender will work well with it..

Does anyone know if a .4mm tempered glass,will work good with a Otterbox defender case??

I know that you can remove the screen shield on the Otterbox case, my friend removed it because it got really blurry and beat up from work.

I don't really know if it's removable from the front piece of that case, but he did it and it looked just fine.

Home button might have issues. Search for "note 3 defender" in ebay. Lots of oem and knockoff defender cases for cheap.
