Can unlock effects be added?

I had both a Galaxy S3 and an S4 and both have the cool ripple effect lock screen swipe. Now my S6 has one they call water droplet which is decidedly less cool. Is there any way to add new unlock effects?

There are apps in Play Store that claim to mimic them, never tried them myself. My favourite was the S4's "lens flare"

Can't get cooler than that at the moment...note 4 has to swipe over the home button, we only have to touch the button!!!
